At an after Christmas sale for 2011 (January 2012) I bought this Christmas towel from a friend selling At Home.
At the time of my purchase I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it. I thought, this is too neat of a towel to hang by the little hangy thingy they sewed onto it...
Then it dawned on me one day... what about hanging it from a dowel so it could hang on the wall for a decoration?
I simply folded the top over and sewed it. One seam.
Then I inserted a dowel.
That's it. Talk about EASY!!
I took some white yarn I had in my stash to make the hangy thingy.
It's light. It could be hung using a straight pin, thus creating a very small hole in the wall.
I put it in a box of things I was sending to my daughter and my grandsons.
The eastern US is having winter weather right now. They may need a one-horse open sleigh to get around!
Pin It Now!
