Beading Brooks

My husband is an avid baseball collector and one of his favorites is Brooks Robinson.  My new beading project is to bead one of his favorite cards of Brooks Robinson.  I am using a square stitch for this project.  (I use a peyote stitch for the ornaments).

Here it is in row 6 of 73 (needless to say I have a ways to go!)  It will end up being a 5 x 7 piece.

Hopefully it will turn out well!  Be ans how it is for my hubby... I know he will love it!

Blessings to all  Pin It Now!

@ Shaynna, ya... well... he's a keeper! (Third time's a charm ;) I like to challenge myself with my crafts. This is my first endeavor at doing the square stitch... if you're gonna do it... might as well make it challenging! :)

  6. Where has the time gone?!?!
    Thanx everyone!

The program I have to help me design my beading projects sometimes does some funky things... with the baseball card it made Brooks face RED... So I've had to "tweek" it some! LOL
