Merry Christmas

I wanted to have some spectacular picture here.
I'm sorry but that simply is not going to happen.
But I will share this clip art from Word.

When I started this blog I was unemployed, and quite frankly bored.
My husband and I moved to Southern Arizona because he had a job offer and he was ready for a change.  We packed up the house, left the kids (& grandsons) in their own homes, and "ran away from home."  It's been hard having the kids 1000 miles away... but... that is the way things go sometimes.

After being here for 4 1/2 years I have FINALLY found a job.  Not that being a nanny to a two year old and a two month old wasn't a job, trust me!  On December 5th on my Facebook page I announced that I was leaving the nanny gig for an Accounts Payable position.  I have 15 years experience with Accounts Payable.  The last job I held for 12 1/2 years.  It has been hard to be unemployed all this time.  (BTW: The family I was nanny for... they moved to North Carolina the weekend before I started my job.)

There is a fine line between enjoying being unemployed and crafting on nearly a daily basis, and being able to afford being unemployed and crafting on nearly a daily basis.

For those of you out there that have families, blogs, jobs, everything else and you're still posting daily, weekly, heck even monthly!  I truly applaud you.  I truly do not know how you do it.

I do have things to share with you.

I do want to continue to share with you.

Obviously it is not going to be as frequent as it used to be.

If you want to continue to follow me and read what I do.  Yahoo!!!!  If you choose not to do that... well... that is your choice.

I found out early on in my blogging that I truly do not have the desire to compete with others in the number of followers I have.  I recently saw this on Facebook:

And... really it does SO APPLY to me!

Again, I want to wish you a very blessed Christmas.

I wish the whole world was at peace.
I am not sure any of us will ever see that in our lifetimes.

Stay safe.

Give your kids an extra hug.
Give yourself a hug... and truly mean it.

Don't forget to say, "I love you" to your spouse, partner, kids, and friends.

(Again thanx to Word clip art!)
