Cat in the Hat - hat

I see on the web where a lot of places celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday.  Which, by the way, if you didn't know is March 2nd. I think all of those Cat in the Hat patterns are simply adorable!  Eventually I found this one by Look At What I Made and I decided to do it up for my grandsons.

I even got our cat to pose!
(OK... well I didn't exactly 'get' her to pose.  I simply took advantage of the situation.)
Sorry that picture is so dark. It was night time, and as you know the lighting is never good at night.  And... getting the cat to pose when you want her to is a challenge!

The oldest will get the red one.
The youngest will get the orange one.  He has decided that orange is his favorite color!

The orange one I used 4 strands of Red Heart worsted weight as opposed to the 2 strands of Bernat Softee Chunky for the red.  The white on both are 2 strands of Bernat Softee Chunky.

I've really been on a crochet kick here lately.

Would you wear a Cat in the Hat - hat?  I think they are fun!  I am pretty sure I would.

What have you been working on for your crafts?
